HOW DOES MY HOME AFFECT MY LIFE?

Often there will seem to be little you can do to alter the layout of the home you inhabit. The way the building itself, and any outside space belonging to it, is set out may be determined by its immediate environment, the size or shape of the plot, or rules pertaining to planning permission in the area. Additionally wiring, plumbing and drainage, and positions of walls, doors and windows, may decide the positions of items within rooms.
But if there is a negative aspect affecting one or more of these, there are often steps you can take to minimise any problems arising from them, or even turn the situation to the advantage of those who live there.

DIRECTION

In many eastern traditions, the direction in which the home faces is of paramount importance and determines the nature of the experience of those living within it. It is useful to be aware of this factor and to choose colours and other factors which support the direction of the home rather than undermine or challenge it
